How Do I Create My Own PowerPoint Template?
This comes from the usenet group: microsoft.public.powerpoint
Open PowerPoint, click the “View” menu, select “Master”, “Slide Master”.
Depending on what type of graphics you have do one of the following:
1. If a full page graphic - click the “Format” menu, select “Background”.
Click the dropdown arrow, select “Fill Effects”. Click the “Picture” TAB,
browse to your image, select it. You can also add other graphics on the
background if necessary.
2. If individual images you want to place on a slide - Click the “Insert”
menu, select “Picture”, “From File”. Browse to your desired graphics and
enter them. Repeat as necessary, moving them where you want them.
When finished, click the “Close” button on the Master Toolbar. Click the
“File” menu, select “Save As” option. In the “Save as type” dropdown,
select “PowerPoint Template“. Type in a file name. Save it, then close it.
To use your new template, click the “File” menu, select “New”. Double-click
on the icon for the template you just created.
There you go!
